Jobs
Finding work for foreigners without special skills is quite challenging, even though the unemployment rate in Prague is very low. One of the best choices to get a quick job is to look for work as an English tutor. Without proper qualifications and knowledge of the Czech language your chances of finding a job are limited, but you can still find seasonal work during the summer at travel-oriented establishments like hostels, hotels or restaurants. There is also a lot of overseas companies which do business in Prague, but they usually send their trained employees from their home headquarters so it is very unlikely that you will be lucky if you contact them while you are here. Prague also attracts workers from Central & East European states like Slovakia, Poland and former Soviet countries like Ukraine. They mainly find jobs in the construction industry or as factory workers.
