Štvanice tennis complex

The oldest and most prestigious tennis complex in the Czech Republic is located on the same-named island in the Vltava River. Here you will find 17 outdoor clay courts, 1 court with a Rebound Ace hard surface and 2 hall courts. In the winter, 10 courts are roofed over. The public can rent courts on weekdays till 3 p.m., on weekends throughout the day.

SK Hradčany tennis courts

Have a game of tennis in this attractive part of Prague near the Strahov Monastery. In the summer, there are 3 clay courts and 1 synthetic surface court at the ready; in the winter, 2 clay courts and 1 synthetic surface court are available. You can also book a professional instructor (individually or as a group), and if you don’t own your own tennis kit, you can rent everything on the spot.

The sports centre facilities on offer include 5 badminton courts in a permanent hall, 4 outside clay courts, 2 with Sit-in synthetic surface (artificial turf with infill) in an inflatable hall, 1 Greenfields synthetic surface (artificial turf with infill) in the permanent hall, 2 beach volleyball courts as well as 1 grassy pitch for five-a-side football. Two of the courts are also suitable for recreational badminton.
