Discover a Countryside Easter Celebration at the Zubrnice Open-Air Museum

Come and enjoy Easter in the beautiful countryside, just like it was celebrated by our great-grandmothers in the charming open-air museum of Zubrnice. On the weekend of April 12 and 13, 2025, we have a delightful Easter program planned for you. The inviting scents of mazance and spring treats will greet you as you arrive. Families with kids can engage in exciting Easter trail challenges. For the adults, there will be a variety of stalls offering handcrafted items and yummy snacks. At farmhouse No. 61 from Loubí, you can explore a traditional home along with a permanent exhibition titled “Hops that built houses“, showcasing outbuildings including a wagon shed, pantry, barn, and fruit drying room.

Morning Activities and Train Ride

You’ll be entertained by the Dykyta Folklore Ensemble as they sing, dance, and showcase the tradition of the Moran. The Krajanek Theatre will present beloved fairy tales during the festivities. In addition, there will be opportunities to browse and purchase handmade crafts. The museum will welcome visitors for this special event from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

To reach the open-air museum, you can hop on the nearby museum railway. The train travels along the route of Ústí nad Labem-Velké Březno-Zubrnice on Saturdays and Sundays at the regular scheduled times. Make the most of a lovely spring day spent in Zubrnice!
