For two special evenings each year, guests have the unique opportunity to enjoy Vrtbovská Garden beautifully lit for a ceremonial event.
This year, the first chance to experience this enchanting event will be on April 8, 2024, while the second is planned for autumn 2025, signaling the conclusion of the season.
This exclusive occasion provides a captivating new viewpoint of one of Prague’s most breathtaking Baroque gardens.
Stroll among the illuminated sculptures created by Matthias Bernard Braun, appreciate the stunning frescoes painted by Václav Vavřinec Reiner, and explore the studio of Mikoláš Aleš.
From the terraces of the garden, you can enjoy stunning nighttime vistas of Prague, where iconic sites like Prague Castle and the Church of St. Nicholas radiate in the night sky.
To enter Vrtbovská Garden, guests should go through Vrtbovský Palace, situated on Karmelitská Street. This UNESCO World Heritage site rests on the picturesque slopes of Petřín Hill, and is one of Prague’s most beautiful Baroque gardens, often missed by many tourists.
During this special event, visitors can gain access at the regular admission fee, making it a not-to-be-missed chance to experience the enchanting ambiance of the garden after dark.
