Fresh Blooms Await: Wallenstein Garden in Prague’s Malá Strana Welcomes Spring After Winter Closure!

The stunning Wallenstein Garden reopened today, April 1, following the winter break. How about taking a brief escape from the bustling city of Prague?
Now, visitors are invited to wander through the picturesque grounds of the garden every day:
- On weekdays: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
- On weekends and holidays: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
On Saturdays, you can enjoy a visit to the garden alongside a complimentary tour of the interiors of the Wallenstein Palace. The historic rooms will be accessible each Saturday (starting April 5) from 09:00 to 16:00, with the last entry at 15:30, until November.
This wonderful opportunity to discover the palace’s historic interiors is available until November, so be sure to arrange your visit accordingly.
For more details and an event calendar, check out the Wallenstein Garden’s website.
Getting to the garden is easy, as public transport options are available, including various tram stops in the vicinity. Additionally, the Malostranská subway station is conveniently located next to the entrance.
It’s worth noting that the Wallenstein Garden is situated right outside the Wallenstein Palace, which houses the Senate of Czechia, in the picturesque area of Mala Strana, Prague.
Both the carefully designed geometric garden and the nearby palace were constructed between 1623 and 1629.
Considering the period in which the garden was built, its baroque style and impressive sala (a type of pavilion) are particularly remarkable.
