Established in June 2023, Galaksia Praha 23 has rapidly evolved into a vibrant football community, uniting players and coaches hailing from over 30 different nationalities.
With more than 60 active members, this club promotes inclusivity, driven by a collective passion for football that surpasses geographical and cultural boundaries.
A significant milestone in its journey is earning a place in the Czech League of Football for the 2025/2026 season, where it will compete starting from the 9th tier of the league.
This achievement highlights a consistent upward trajectory in the local football landscape. In the last two seasons in the Hanspaulka league, Galaksia has celebrated three promotions across two teams, demonstrating its competitive spirit and determination.
Additionally, the club has made significant strides in various tournaments. It triumphed at the 2024 Summer Soccer Festival in Brno and achieved an impressive beach soccer victory against a Sparta Prague team—these accomplishments clearly reflect its growing prominence in Czech football.
In an effort to broaden its engagement beyond football, the club hosts weekly English-speaking 3×3 indoor basketball sessions each Wednesday and Thursday, inviting players from all backgrounds to join in. This initiative represents Galaksia’s deeper commitment to fostering community involvement and embracing diversity in sports.
Galaksia Praha 23 also collaborates with Bites of India, a popular Indian restaurant located in Prague, further strengthening its multicultural approach both within and outside the sporting arena.
Actively seeking new talent, the club conducts trial sessions every two weeks for aspiring players. A larger recruitment event is scheduled for Saturday, May 10, at 14:00 at Stadion Na Pecích (FK Admira grounds), providing a great opportunity for potential players to join this expanding football family.
