The Leipzig Treetop Trail

Lipno trailThe treetop trail at Lipno was the very first of its kind in the Czech Republic. This path is completely accessible for everyone, as it’s designed for strollers and wheelchair users alike. The trail stretches for 372 meters through a beautifully mixed forest. With a gentle slope of only 2 to 6%, it allows you to ascend to a height of 24 meters. One of the most exciting features of the trail is the impressive 40-meter tower, from which visitors can enjoy stunning views of the peaks of the Alps, most of Lake Lipno, and the picturesque surroundings of Šumava and the Novohradské hory mountains. The trail also features various educational elements that provide insights into nature, its conservation, and the role of forests, making it enjoyable not just for children but also for adults who have a sense of adventure. There are three adventure stations with rope elements to explore. An additional thrill awaits on the trail in the form of the longest water slide in the Czech Republic. This slide runs through the observation tower and guarantees a thrilling ride from 24 meters high and spans a length of 52 meters. The trail is part of Active Park Lipno and can be accessed on foot or by bike. However, visitors also have the option to take a cable car or use a special bus to reach it.

Trail in the Clouds and Skybridge in Lower Moravia

Located in Dolní Morava, near the top station of the Sněžník cable car, you will find the Trail in the Clouds, which offers an exceptional view of the surrounding mountain ranges. The trail is situated at an altitude of 1116 meters above sea level and features an impressive height of 55 meters. Rather than a single path, it presents a network of wooden pathways that wind through the trees. For those who crave adventure, there are several fun attractions available, like a resting net, a sleeve, nests, and a tunnel on the footbridge. The sleeve is an attraction where visitors crawl through a thick net from one level of the walkway to another. At the summit of the trail, you can enjoy breathtaking views not only of Králický Sněžník and the Morava River valley but also the Jeseníky and Krkonoše Mountains. The more adventurous can try out the 100-meter-long toboggan, which features windows and exciting banked turns.
