Exploring the Cellars of Tabor

campNo wine festival would be complete without a tour of the cellars! The organizers have prepared two special events for you. The first, 29 March: I. Wandering through the Cellars of Tabor, will introduce you to the association known as Víno z Velkých Pavlovic. This group unites winemakers who meticulously process grapes sourced solely from the Velke Pavlovice region, showcasing their dedication and passion. Their goal is to enhance the reputation of the exceptional wines from this extraordinary area, to promote its sale, and to collaborate on producing even higher quality wines together. Currently, this association comprises most of the small and medium-sized winemakers in the area, totaling 22 members who collectively produce over 400,000 litres of wine every year.

One month later, on Saturday 26 April , the II. Wandering through the Cellars of Tábor will feature leading exclusive wineries: Vinařství Uherek and Vinařství Čapka, who clinched the top two spots in the 2024 Winemaker of the Year competition. The Bzenec Chateau Winery, acclaimed for its exceptional white wines and multiple wins as Winemaker of the Year, is among the best wineries in Moravia. The Spielberg Winery and Dufek Winery are also noted for their meticulous production practices and their focus on terroir, achieving success both domestically and in international wine competitions.
