Rožnov Calls You to the Josefský Jarmark This Weekend

Joseph Fair promises to be an enjoyable experience for everyone, both young and old. Visitors can eagerly anticipate a variety of traditional fair items, including beautiful bouquets, unique ceramics, aromatic candles, handcrafted cheeses and delicious meat products. Besides these, there will also be fun programs and activities designed specifically for children. Additionally, the event will include an impressive cultural program filled with entertainment. On Saturday, you can travel to the fair via a steam locomotive departing from Wallachian Meziříčí. The steam train will leave at 9:45 and 13:20, and it will return from Rožnov at 11:32 and 16:07.
In the central square of Rožnov, attendees can enjoy a performance featuring dulcimer music by talented musicians, who will provide much of the entertainment for Friday. At 16:30, the fair will be officially inaugurated by the local authorities of Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. Following this, singer-songwriter René Souček will grace the stage with his performance. The day will conclude with a thrilling rock tribute show by Status Quo Tribute CZ. On Saturday morning, the jazz-swing ensemble Silesian dixie band will perform, and the closing act will feature the vibrant country band Radegrass.
Over the course of both days, more than 80 vendors will showcase a range of traditional fair products, including flower bouquets, flower arrangements, ceramics, candles, various cheeses, gingerbread treats, meat products, tasty snacks, and numerous other items that are typical at a local fair and signify the arrival of spring. For the little ones, there will be a traditional handicrafts workshop where children can create small trinkets from beads and wires, allowing them to take home a cherished memento from the fair.
